Happy Valentine’s Day

Dear LMI Family,

Recently I have been approached by several people. Some people inquired if their email addresses had been removed, while others seem to have concluded that since I have become the pastor of Unified …, LMI no longer exists. So I decided it is time to write something to let everyone know LMI is still around and healthier than ever. We are gearing up for another year of training schools with amazing guest speakers already on our calendar. I expect another exciting year ahead!

I want to invite you to attend a special Wednesday Night Celebration Service on February 15 at 6:30 pm at Unified … with Danny Silk of Bethel Church in Redding California. Danny has a very timely message for the season of transitions we are in.

Don’t forget tomorrow is Valentine’s Day! Valentine’s Day originally was a day to celebrate Christian martyrs. Christian martyrs were once named Valentine. Although not much information is known about those martyred, except their places of burial, there are still Christian denominations which recognizes Saint Valentine’s Day, like the Church of England.

To some Valentine’s Day is purely romantic commercialism, to others a very sacred day. But however you choose to enjoy the day, take some time to thank the Lord for His amazing love for us and be aware that we are here to share His love with the world. It may be in the form of a kind word of encouragement or just a simple smile.

Enjoy your Valentine’s Day, however you choose to celebrate it!

From my heart,

Dean

1John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.
